Dr. Erik Fitzgerald
Originally from suburban Washington, DC, Dr. Erik Fitzgerald made the move west after falling in love with Colorado's beauty and outdoor lifestyle. He joined Evergreen Dental Group in 2016 and became a practice owner in 2022. He has been passionate about helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles through compassionate, personalized care. He values building lasting relationships with his patients and takes pride in creating comfortable experiences while delivering high-quality dentistry.
Education & Expertise
Dr. Fitzgerald earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Mary Washington in Virginia before spending ten years at Johns Hopkins University conducting research on the effects of drugs on fetal development. It was there that he discovered his passion for combining medical science with the artistry of dentistry.
He went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, graduating in 2014 with honors in both Oral Surgery and Implant Placement and Prosthodontics. Following dental school, Dr. Fitzgerald completed an intensive General Practice Residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital in 2015, where he provided care in the dental clinic, operating room, and at patients' bedsides.
During his residency, Dr. Fitzgerald performed a wide variety of complex procedures, including comprehensive dental rehabilitation for cancer patients and reconstructive treatment following severe facial trauma. His extensive training allows him to provide exceptional care across a broad range of dental treatments, always with a focus on precision, comfort, and long-term oral health.
Life Outside of Dentistry
When he's not in the office, Dr. Fitzgerald embraces Colorado's adventurous spirit. He enjoys mountain biking, backpacking, woodworking, and rebuilding and modifying cars. A talented musician, he is also a classically trained pianist and enjoys playing the drums. Whether he's creating something in his workshop, exploring the mountains, or helping patients transform their smiles, Dr. Fitzgerald brings creativity, attention to detail, and enthusiasm to everything he does.
Dr. Scott Gordon
Although Dr. Gordon spent much of his childhood moving from place to place as the son of an Army family, Colorado has proudly become home. He joined Evergreen Dental Group in 2011 and became a practice owner in early 2022. He is passionate about providing exceptional dental care while building meaningful, lasting relationships with his patients.
For Dr. Gordon, one of the most rewarding aspects of dentistry is helping patients regain their confidence, comfort, and oral health. Whether he's relieving pain, restoring a smile, providing preventive care, or addressing cosmetic concerns, he takes pride in creating personalized treatment plans that help patients achieve their goals.
Education & Expertise
Dr. Gordon earned his undergraduate degree from Creighton University before receiving his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine. After graduation, he was commissioned as an officer in the United States Army and served as a Brigade Dentist, including a one-year deployment to Iraq. During his military service, he cared for thousands of active-duty soldiers and was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal for his dedication and excellence.
Committed to lifelong learning, Dr. Gordon has completed advanced training in numerous areas of dentistry, including Invisalign, dental implant placement and restoration, and the Pinhole Surgical Technique for gum recession treatment. He is continually expanding his knowledge and skills to bring the latest techniques and technologies to his patients.
Life Outside of Dentistry
When he's not caring for patients, Dr. Gordon enjoys spending time with his wife and their two sons. Together, they love hiking, camping, and exploring the Colorado outdoors. He also enjoys reading, 4-wheeling, watching movies, and pursuing his adventurous side—Dr. Gordon is both scuba certified and a licensed pilot.
Dr. Holly Nartker
Originally from Michigan, Dr. Holly Nartker made the move to beautiful Colorado and has been helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles at Evergreen Dental Group since 2021. With more than a decade of experience in dentistry, she is passionate about building lasting relationships with her patients and creating personalized treatment plans that help them feel comfortable and cared for.
For Dr. Nartker, one of the most rewarding parts of dentistry is seeing the positive impact a healthy smile can have on a person's confidence and overall well-being. She loves that dentistry combines science, artistry, and problem-solving while providing the opportunity to serve her community every day.

Dr. Nartker earned her dental degree from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry—Go Blue! She is committed to lifelong learning and regularly pursues continuing education to stay current with the latest techniques and advancements in dentistry. Through extensive coursework and participation in study clubs, she continues to expand her expertise in treatment planning and restorative dentistry, ensuring her patients receive high-quality, comprehensive care.
Life Outside of Dentistry
When she's not in the office, Dr. Nartker enjoys spending time with her husband and their two young children—a son and a daughter. Family adventures are a favorite pastime, whether they're hiking Colorado's beautiful trails, visiting a museum or zoo, or simply making memories together. At home, she loves cooking and trying new foods and has recently discovered a passion for gardening.
Dr. Joseph Burns, DDS
Dr. Burns grew up in Deerfield, Illinois but his love for the outdoors brought him to Colorado. Dr. Burns is passionate about transforming smiles and changing lives through advanced, patient-centered dentistry. He combines cutting-edge technology with a warm, personalized approach to deliver exceptional results for every patient. Committed to ongoing education and innovation, Dr. Burns ensures that every patient receives state-of-the-art care tailored to their goals, comfort, and long-term wellness.
Education & Expertise
In 2014 he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Wisconsin Madison. In 2018 he attended Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee, WI. where he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery, graduating with highest honors, Summa Cum Laude. Dr. Burns then attended one of the nation’s most prestigious residency programs at The South Texas Veteran’s Healthcare System where he received an Advanced Education in General Dentistry.
As one of only four dentists in Colorado certified in the revolutionary 3 on 6™ implant procedure, Dr. Burns offers a life-changing alternative to dentures—providing patients with permanent, functional, and beautiful new smiles. This has become a core focus of his practice, allowing him to help patients regain confidence and long-term oral health.
Dr. Burns is also highly sought after for his cosmetic expertise, including prepless (no-shave) veneers, which deliver stunning aesthetic improvements while preserving natural tooth structure. His advanced training in immediate implants, periodontal plastic surgery, and smile design sets him apart as a leader in modern dentistry.

When Dr. Burns is not restoring smiles, he embraces Colorado's mountain lifestyle. He enjoys running, hiking, climbing, and biking, and cherishes spending time with his wife, Kelly, their two daughters, Zoey and Remy, and their dog, Batman.
Dr. Sara Qadi
Dr. Sara Qadi was born and raised in the Midwest and is passionate about helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles through compassionate, personalized care. Known for her gentle approach and commitment to excellence, she combines advanced clinical expertise with the latest evidence-based techniques to provide exceptional periodontal treatment. Dr. Qadi believes that educating and empowering her patients is just as important as delivering outstanding clinical results.
Education & Expertise
Dr. Qadi earned her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees from the University of Missouri–Kansas City. She went on to complete her postgraduate specialty training in periodontal surgery at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, where she also served as a clinical and course instructor for predoctoral dental students. She is board-certified by the American Academy of Periodontology, reflecting her dedication to the highest standards of patient care and professional excellence.
With extensive clinical and research experience, Dr. Qadi specializes in esthetic and reconstructive periodontics, including gum grafting, extractions, bone grafting, and dental implant therapy. She is also laser-certified and is committed to incorporating innovative treatment techniques that improve both outcomes and patient comfort.
Dr. Qadi has contributed to numerous research projects and has been published in several peer-reviewed dental journals, with a particular focus on inflammation surrounding dental implants. She has presented her work at professional conferences across the country, including the Southwest Society of Periodontists, the American Academy of Periodontology, and the Midwest Dental Conference.
Life Outside of Dentistry
When she's not caring for patients, Dr. Qadi enjoys staying active and spending time outdoors. You'll often find her playing pickleball, gardening, horseback riding, or practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Most of all, she loves spending quality time with her family—and her feisty Pomeranian, Giovanni, who always keeps life entertaining.
